Your Shisha

Fill the hookah base (glass vase) with cold water until it covers about 1 inch of the downstem once inserted.
This water level helps filter and cool the smoke effectively.

Insert the stem into the base, making sure it sits securely and the bottom is submerged in water.
Attach the hose firmly to the hose port. Check for airtightness—no leaks should be felt when you pull.
Place the ash tray on top of the stem. This will catch any stray ash or falling coal pieces.

Gently fluff your shisha and loosely sprinkle it into the bowl. Do not overpack—good airflow is key.
Cover the bowl with tight aluminum foil, keeping it smooth across the top.
Poke several small holes in the foil using a toothpick or poker. Spread them evenly for consistent heat distribution.

Light your natural coals using a burner or stove until they’re glowing red and covered in a thin layer of grey ash.
Using tongs, carefully place the hot coals around the outer edge of the foil-covered bowl. Avoid the center to prevent burning the tobacco.

Take a few gentle draws to warm up the bowl. Within a minute or two, rich smoke should begin to form.
Adjust heat as needed: if the smoke is harsh, remove or reposition a coal. If it's too light, add another or move them closer together.

Tap off ash from the coals periodically to maintain even heat.
Rotate the coals during the session to ensure all parts of the bowl heat evenly.
A session typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your packing, coals, and smoking pace.

Clean your hookah regularly to maintain flavor and hygiene.
Experiment with flavors—mix fruit and mint or citrus and spice for something new.
Handle coals with care and always use tongs for safety.
